We dropped the ball when we made the conscious decision to spend every single Sunday afternoon sitting on our couch yelling at a bunch of boys in helmets and shoulder pads instead of making sure that you were emotionally, physically, and spiritually ready for another week.
So, I’ll ask you again, are you being transformed by the renewing of your mind to look, think, talk, and act more like Jesus, or are you content to go to church for an hour a week and throw up a few Hail Mary prayers during the week?
Here is the point, I know that we are living in a very exciting and unprecedented era of history, but the same could be said for every single era that has come before this one. Are our threats more real than theirs were? Ask your grandpa….
